Grand Opening: Washington Aerospace Training and Research Center


On June 3rd, Governor Gregoire will join members of Washington's Congressional Delegation, State and Local elected officials and aerospace leaders to celebrate the opening of the Washington Aerospace Training and Research Center. The new Center will encompass an array of training and educational options designed to work for you and your workers.

Your Training Options:

Classroom Delivery at the Center or Local Community College: Individuals will attend training and courses that are scheduled at the Center or at their local community college site.

Hybrid delivery via Center web-based and industry or other location: Individuals would participate in training through the Center web based instruction from any location and participate in hands-on or lab training at a local community college or on site.

Web-based Delivery: Individuals would participate in online training delivered through the Center's distant learning platform, including video demonstrations and live podcast and webcasts.

Industry Site Delivery: The Center staff would work with the industry and the local community college to develop and deliver training at the industry site.

Customized Training Delivery: Training needs would be identified and the Center would coordinate with the community college(s) to develop and deliver customized training.
