Enhance tools for employers to invest in the training and upskilling of current and future aerospace workers

Support initiatives that provide education and training for current and future aerospace and space workers, ensuring they have the skills necessary to meet industry demands

Advocate for programs that combine classroom education with real-world aviation experience for youth, preparing them for future careers in the aerospace sector

Support Washington state port and community leaders associations that assist in strengthening the aerospace and space industries

Educate aerospace industry needs for energy use while supporting alternative energy research

Encourage research, development, and adoption of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), electric and hydrogen fuel cells, positioning Washington as a leader in clean aviation technology.

Work to simplify and expedite permitting processes for new aerospace industry structures, reducing barriers to industry expansion

Advocate for transportation infrastructure to support the aerospace industry’s growth and connectivity

Oppose extending unemployment insurance to striking workers to maintain a competitive environment to retain existing businesses and attract further innovation

Advocate for tax incentives and financial support for new and existing aerospace businesses to foster job creation and retention

Develop a centralized resource to aid in aerospace business recruitment, retention, and expansion, making it easier for businesses to navigate resources and support systems.
